IMAO Fixtureworks Work Supports are spring-loaded supports that can prevent a workpiece from chattering. The support plunger automatically extends to the proper height when the workpiece is put into place, and then is locked mechanically or pneumatically. This helps prevent vibration or deformation during machining, improves machining accuracy, and save valuable time. The supports can also be used as the backup pin during mounting or inspection of electric components.

Conventional Method

Set the tip of a screw jack to the workpiece bottom and hold it with a nut. This type of setup is done by hand with trained techniques to prevent any clearance between workpiece and screw tip or any workpiece lift-up.
