Pulling up on the handle disengages it from the spline and allows it to rotate freely for adjustment. Releasing the handle engages it for tightening or adjusting. The handle is made from zinc die cast and powder coated to a black satin finish. Internal parts and studs are made from steel with a black oxide finish.
