Designed for use on horizontal machining centers, these screws attach to hook-type clamping modules to provide safe and easy loading and unloading of heavy workpieces or fixture plates. These tapered screws can be used for both clamping and locating a fixture plate or workpiece. (When locating is not necessary, use the CP166 clamping screws). CP165-LH screws are used along with CP165-L tapered screws and CP160 clamping modules. Tapered bushing made from 1045 steel, precision ground, with a black oxide finish. Clamping screw made from 4135 steel, quenched and tempered, with a black oxide finish. O-ring made from nitrile rubber.
