The SpeedLoc™ precision locating and mounting system is designed to solve the common difficulties associated with precision attachment and removal of fixtures, fixture plates, and accessories. This unique system alleviates the prying, pounding, and/or use of jack screws of associated methods. The SpeedLoc’s unique design allows the precision locator to mechanically extract itself from the receiver when removing. This allows for easy separation of fixtures, fixture plates, and jig and fixture accessories. Another advantage the SpeedLoc precision locating and mounting system has over competing products is that the SpeedLoc fixture locating components do not require expensive “repair kits” associated with rubber O-ring failure or ball bearings falling out or fracturing. The locating fixture system is made up of precision locators, receivers, and liner bushings.
