Pressing down on the handle disengages it from the spline and allows it to rotate freely for adjustment. Releasing the handle engages it for tightening or adjusting. The “toucan” shaped handle is made from hard glass fiber reinforced plastic for a comfortable feel. The color is dark gray. Internal parts and studs are made from steel with blue chromate finish.
