These clamping fasteners provide positive locking in applications requiring quick installation and removal of panels or covers without the need for a separate receptacle. They allow for consistent clamping force, eliminating the chance for under or over tightening by the operator. They are designed to mount directly through a single plate, requiring no mating receptacle on the opposite side. The clamp is mounted to the upper plate, and as the pin contacts the cam surface of the body, the spring compresses to press the plate downward. Turning the knob one quarter turn locks the clamp into place, producing an audible click to confirm engagement. The clamps are marked with "ON" and "OFF" indicators to show the position of the fastening pins. They can be used with an embossed guide to reduce rotational play when only a single clamp is used.
Body and shank are made from 303 stainless steel. Pin is made from 301 stainless steel. Knob is made from 304 cast stainless steel. Spring is made from 304 stainless steel. Two socket head cap screws for mounting are included (M2X0.4 - 5 mm long). No receptacle is required.
