Description

These clamping screws, non-locating type, are used with the Modular Pull Clamp System to clamp workpieces where locating is not required. Used along with Round type and Diamond type tapered floating screws (CP155-LM, CP155-DM) and clamp modules, they can accommodate for changes in hole pitch caused by workpiece distortion that would otherwise result in misalignment. This compensation system enables users working with large workpieces, such as molds, to utilize the 5-axis Modular Pull Clamp System. An O-ring is used to prevent rotation and maintain the orientation of the clamping screw and can be replaced when needed with a commercially available equivalent. Clamping screw is made from 4135 steel, quenched and tempered, with a black oxide finish. O-ring is made from nitrile rubber. Spacer is made from 1045 steel with a black oxide finish.
