These Flex locators receivers are used with CP157 tapered locator pins. In combination, these parts are designed to be mounted on base plates and fixture plates for accurate locating and positioning and allow for precise repeatability of 0.005 mm (5 microns). The Round type pin has a full tapered surface and is used for reference position locating for full-surface reference. The Diamond type pin has two opposite tapered surfaces and is used for rotational position locating for directional positioning. The spacer is used where no locating is required. Body made from 4140 steel with a black oxide finish, quenched and tempered, and precision ground.
