Fraser, MI - Nothing is more fundamental to successful manufacturing than ensuring that parts are not marred, scratched or otherwise damaged during the manufacturing process. DuraSoft® Rollers manufactured by Fairlane Products provide a safe, firm solution for handling materials for any operation.
DuraSoft® industrial rollers are used for a wide array of fixturing, assembly and material handling operations. Their unique design allows these roller to flex for firm yet non-damaging contact. The surface flex on Durasoft rollers is due to a "no-crush" teardrop design, which allows them to “give” under pressure and conform to the shape, contour and size of the part being handled. They are specially designed to protect parts ranging from those that are delicate or fragile to those that are heavy or unusually shaped.
With durometer measurements including 20, 35, 60, 80 and 95, DuraSoft rollers are ideal for use on conveyors, belt idlers, racks, shock cushioners, stamping die part-guides and supports, carts and wagons, or other applications where fragile items require cushioned, non-marring and secure handling. The compliancy attribute of DuraSoft rollers is achieved through a combination of the material used - including black neoprene, white nitrile, and urethane - and the unique internal relief channels that provide exceptional cushioning flex.
DuraSoft rollers are available in 2-1/2 and 4" diameters and 1" or 2" widths. Types offered include standard bearing mount, precision bearing mount, stud mount, shaft drive and one-directional brake roll. The shaft drive rollers include I.D. measurements of 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1". The brake roll style, equipped with clutch bearings, is available in either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation for left and right side mounting.
Rugged, wear resistant and versatile, all Fairlane Products rollers are injected molded and available in a variety of sizes, durometers, mounting options and materials. They can also be designed into machines and assembly operations and used nearly anywhere that protection for parts movement is needed.
