Fraser, MI - Fixtureworks expands its line of Flex locators to include a new One-Touch Precision type that achieves both high accuracy and high clamping force. The CP741 Precision Flex Locator provides an outstanding accuracy of 0.003 mm, the most accurate Flex locator to date, while also providing 674 lbs (3000N) of clamping force.
These ball-lock locators are made to pair with AMWF-BU receptacles for quick change fixture operations. The locator pin is mounted to the fixture and the receptacle is mounted to the base. Simple to operate, these locators clamp and unclamp with a simple quarter turn of the knob, no tools needed.
The CP741 locator is available in straight and tapered types. The tapered version is used for locating and for 90 degree rotational reference. The straight type is used for additional clamping points.
The new CP741 Flex locator is a powerful option for those who want to perform high-precision positioning quickly and with ease. They join an expanding line of Flex Clamping Locators that are designed to make fixture changes and setups quick and simple, without the need for tools.
